Rob Cook, owner of Casino Beacon said: "Most sites that claim to review online casinos do nothing of the sort. The supposed 'review' should be exactly that - a review that covers good and bad findings. It shouldn't just be a one-sided sales pitch for the casino."
CasinoBeacon.co.uk currently publishes reviews of 25 online casinos for UK players. They are given a star-rating of between one to five star. There are five casinos boasting the maximum five star ratings. Only two casinos have so far been given the minimum one star rating.
Rob explained further about the reasons for the Casino Beacon's sometimes brutally honest approach: "The site is there to tell players where's safe to play and where they can find good quality games, reliable customer support and safe fair bonuses. If we recommend a really bad online casino just because we've been paid to advertise them then our visitors won't believe our word next time and just won't return. That's not the aim - when a UK online casino player wants to try out somewhere new to play, we want them to trust the casino reviews at Casino Beacon so it has to be nothing but the truth."
Many online casinos have seen Casino Beacon's reviews as constructive criticism and made improvements based on their findings, giving them an opportunity to receive a fresh appraisal and hopefully improve the casino's star rating.
