Roulette is usually played by seven or eight people against the croupier, the house. The croupier is the one who spins the wheel and handles payouts and wagers. Every player has different colored chips in order to avoid mix-up. After you finish your play you can exchange these colored chips to cash chips, with amounts imprinted on them.
